Aimee told me, free your mind
Write every day for just ten minutes
Write anything and never mind
Feel so free, there are no limits
I did as she said but couldn't write
I heard no sound inside my mind
Like a silent sea in a dark night
I searched for a light but didn't find
I told you, Aimee, I must be in love
To write anything, even about war
Love is my soul as a poet to live
Without it, my mind will be so poor
